Dr Anuja is a warm, compassionate clinical psychologist who believes in listening to your goals for therapy and collaboratively choosing treatment modes and strategies that capitalise on your strengths and empower you with the tools you need to achieve your goals.
She favours an approach to treatment that is realistic for you and practical to implement in the context of your circumstances. Anuja draws from a range of evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
Anuja graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) and the University Medal. She completed her postgraduate qualifications at the University of New South Wales in 2018, including a PhD and Masters in clinical psychology. Anuja’s postgraduate training focused on the assessment and diagnosis of clinical disorders (e.g., depression, various anxiety disorders, OCD, bipolar disorder, etc.), as well as their treatment with gold standard, evidenced based treatment approaches such as CBT. She has also conducted and published her own anxiety research in peer reviewed international journals.
Anuja has practiced in a range of settings, including private practice as well as organisations such as the Black Dog Institute and the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
